Trip Duration to Interesting Places in Langkawi

I received an email from Yus a month ago asking about the duration of each visit to Langkawi attractions. The email is in Bahasa Melayu as attached. Yus want to know how much time is required to be spent on each of the listed places in Langkawi.

I've replied and provided her with the estimate duration. I believe the information is also useful for other potential visitors to Langkawi. So, I'm sharing it here -- Roszs

Saya dalam perancangan untuk melancong ke Langkawi pada 30Ogos – 2 September 2007 ini. Senarai tempat yang ingin dilawati telah dikenal pasti. Walaubagaimanapun saya tidak pasti berapakan tempoh masa yang perlu diperuntukkan untuk meninjau tarikan yang ada bagi setiap lokasi tersebut (masa untuk berada dilokasi sahaja, tidak termasuk masa perjalanan). Ini bagi memudahkan saya membuat perancangan masa. Harap anda dapat membantu.

• Eagle square (30m: take pictures, enjoy the sea view)
  
  
• Lagenda Park (depends: if take pictures in front - only 15m, if go walking inside the park, half a day (morning is best)
  
  
• Makam Mahsuri (1 1/2 hour: take pictures/visit the museum/telaga etc)
  
  
• Makam Purba (15m: take picture/see the old grave)
  
  
• Laman Padi (1 1/2 hour: take picture/see the paddy field/ museum etc)
  
  
• Underwaterworld (2 hours: take picture/admire the creatures/see 3D teater etc)
  
  
• Telaga Habour Park (1 hour: take picture/enjoy the sea view/ eat snack etc)
  
  
• Anna & The King Gallery (sorry: this gallery is now closed by the Langkawi Authority due to maintenance)
  
  
• Telaga Tujuh (half a day: walk uphill/take picture/bathing/picnic etc)
  
  
• Cable Car (half a day: take picture/stop at each viewing stations/walk on the suspended bridge etc)
  
  
• Oriental Village (30m: shopping/take picture, if take elephant ride:1-2 hour)
  
  
• Beras Terbakar (1 1/2 hour: see beras/shopping batik etc)
  
  
• Kg Air Hangat (1 1/2 hour: take picture/bathing)
  
  
• Komplek Kraf (1-2 hours: take picture/shopping)
  
  
• Langkawi Kristal (30m: look around/take picture)
  
  
• Muzium Ibrahim Husein (1 1/2 hours: take picture/view arts)
  
  
• Air Terjun Temurun (half day: take picture/bathing)
