Atma Alam Batik Art Village - Padang Matsirat
Atma Alam Batik Art Village is the Langkawi's main Batik production and sales center founded by Aza Osman (oil painter) and Roshadah Yusof (batik artist/designer).
It is a treasure trove of local art and culture.
Local artisans and craftspeople have been trained to develop their creativity using local cultural themes and legends.
You can find a good selection of of hand-painted batik on silk and cotton which are also available as a range of elegant casual and beach wear.
You can also purchase some original oil and batik paintings.
Atma Alam Batik Art Village is in Padang Matsirat near the Petronas gas station.
It opens daily 9am to 6pm.
Noor Craft Collection
You will fall in love with the beautifully hand-painted ceramic mugs, vases, plates, sugar bowls and soap holders with motifs mostly of fish and flowers.
You can also try your hands at painting your own design onto plain ceramic wares of your choice.
This shop is known to be the only one in Langkawi producing and selling its own ceramic products.
So, take one home to remind you of your stay in Langkawi.

There are at least 15 kinds of aroma candles and a variety of
body care goods from Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand.
Ombak
The recommended products are the marble items, entirely made in Langkawi.
Other popular products are natural soaps (various aroma),hand made cotton goods, bamboo lacquer, silver & stone jewelries, paintings & frames.
Nasi
It is located in the shopping mall Langkawi Fair in
Kuah town.
The recommended items here are the very unique cusion covers
and sarongs. The cushion covers are made from Songket - a Malay
traditional embrodrodery, using gold strings.
You can also find some sandals, hand bags, clothes, books
(many books about interior decoration, owner's taste)
