Langkawi Bird Paradise or Taman Burung Langkawi is located at Jalan Kisap, Langkawi - 10 minutes by car from Kuah or 30 minutes from Pantai Cenang.
The 10,000 square-meters park is home to various birds - adapted to their natural habitat.
Langkawi Bird Paradise resides naturally at the foot of the Gunung Raya - a jungle at the edge of the jungle.
You'd see hundreds of the world's rarest and most beautiful birds greeting you as you stroll through tropical gardens.
These are birds from all over the world!
The bird park is opened daily until 6:00 pm.
Your wonderful tour through Langkawi Bird Paradise can take about one to two hours.
The walkways through the jungle vegetation of the bird park, pass the ponds and waterfalls are all fully covered.
So, don't worry about turning back on a rainy day.
Inside Langkawi Bird Paradise, you'd find a rich selection of birds from the canary over owls and eagles, flamingo, pelicans up to Hornbills, Emu and Toco Toucan.
There are more than 1,500 of them fly freely in the park - so watch out for the sticky-and-smelly bomb dropped from the above.
If you get tired, you'd sit down on the benches along the sidewalks. Listen for the natural jungle music and time flies so quickly.
At the end of the walkway, you'd find a souvenir shop selling beautiful birds theme souvenirs.
