Air Hangat Village (Hot Springs Village) is located about 14km northwest of Kuah town.
It's a modern complex with an impressive three-tier fountain and a magnificent hand-carved riverstone mural, which depicts the well-known legend of the earth-shattering battle between Mat Cincang and Mat Raya.
A cauldron of boiling water was used as a missile in the fight. The spot where it landed became a series of Hot Springs gushing into the air - giving rise to the name Telaga Air Hangat.
