It's the second month of 2006. Yes! February is an exciting month. The Chinese celebrated their new year on 29 & 30th January,so it's not to late to wish you all....Happy Chinese New Year! Most of my neighbours are Chinese and they're still in the festive mood. Their houses are still decorated with fiery red tanglungs, little orange trees and bonsai bamboo trees. I can hear them play fire-crackers almost every night...and the sweet mandarin oranges are available in abundance. For non-Chinese, the 3-day public holiday (including Awal Muharam) is a blessed!

February is also the month when Cupid strikes! Happy Valentines Day to every soul that appreciate the strongest power in the world....LOVE. What's the #1 gift that you DON'T want to receive this Valentines day? Hmmm.. chocolate? Yeah..I thought so... but you can't separate chocolate with this lovey-dovey day. Langkawi is one of the best place to buy chocolates at a very cheap price. There'll be "Langkawi Chocolate Festival" in November this year. It's an event that shouldn't be missed by all chocolate lovers..so.. mark your calendar!

February is a month full with exciting events in Langkawi. The best Langkawi event of the month is of course, 11th Edition of the TM Tour de Langkawi! This international cycling event will be held from February 3 to 12.

For Tour de Langkawi fans, you can see some big professional teams such as the French teams, Bouygues Telecom and Credit Agricole, as well as the Colombia Selle Italia in action.
